ADVANCE DRAWING ARTWORK

In my drawings I explore the beauty in life. What people hope to see, what allows us to find the true meaning of life that no one understands. Life. It has so many colors and I tried to add this by using a variety utensils and colors. This piece could be better, but everything could be improved. Im just glad this piece came from the heart.

THE COLORS IN OUR EYES

people can be demons

People can be demons. Hide themselves from the world. Present this flawless person when they know deep down inside they are a monster. A devil who lives in the skin of an angel. We want to be this person, but once we get to know them we understand they aren't the someone we want to be. They're the people we learn from. Im proud of my piece because it allowed me to express the concepts I wanted to show. Its something to relate and learn from.

For this art assignment we had to create a super hero. I didn't want to create someone like Ironman, or the green lantern. I wanted to create something more realistic, something that could touch your heart. Something you could be a super hero in.

Pollution. It's destroying so much, yet we do little to prevent. We sit here burning fossil fuels and let the earth crumble. We wait for the Iceburgs to melt because of global warming. we wait for the oceans to rise. we wait for the water to slowly disappear. we wait for the human race to die. we wait for the earth to crash. I wanted to present a real issue. In my drawing, Mother Nature is sick. She can't breath. I purposely made her skin grey using pencil, but made the flowers colored. I did this to show that parts of her and still alive, but clinging on. This draws to her health and how poorly it is. Drawing her was a challenge, but I'm really proud that it came out this way. There will always be things to work  on, but in my opinion everything came out pretty well.

Figure Drawing

In this drawing charcoal was used to draw a portrait of a model and contrast was used to create dimension and define the figure. Eventhough this was a first attempt, the drawing is proportioned correctly and the final piece is well.
